Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we, the operators of casinoscore.ca (the “Site”), collect, use and share personal information when you visit the Site. The Site is an independent review and comparison website. We do not operate an online casino, accept deposits or hold gambling accounts.

Who is responsible for your information

The operators of the Site are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our Privacy Officer oversees privacy matters and can be reached through the contact form on our Contact Us page. Please write “Privacy” in the subject line.

Information we collect

If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the subject and the message you write. We keep the correspondence so that we can reply and follow up.

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers receive technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you and the date and time of your visit. This data comes from server logs, cookies and similar technologies.

Links such as “Get Bonus” pass through our tracking links before they take you to a casino. We may record that a link was clicked. The casino or its affiliate network may set its own cookies, and it may tell us when a sign-up or deposit came through our link so that we can calculate our commission. We do not receive your payment card details.

We do not ask you for card numbers, government ID or other sensitive information, and you should not send them to us.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your messages and handle correction requests.
  • To run, secure and improve the Site, including fixing errors and understanding which pages are useful.
  • To measure how our links perform and to calculate affiliate commission.
  • To prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies to make the Site work. We may also use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the Site, and casinos’ affiliate networks may set tracking cookies after you click one of our links. Our Cookie Policy explains each type and how to control them. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before using analytics or tracking cookies. You can control or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings and, if the Site shows a cookie banner, change your choice there.

Consent

We collect, use and share your personal information with your consent, which may be express or implied depending on the circumstances and how sensitive the information is, or where the law otherwise permits. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal restrictions, by contacting us. If you do, we may not be able to provide the service you asked for, such as replying to your message.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the Site, such as hosting, email, analytics and spam-protection providers. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
  • Casinos and affiliate networks, but only the information created when you click or sign up through a tracking link, as described above. We do not give them the contents of your messages to us.
  • Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
  • A buyer or successor if we sell or reorganize the business. They must follow this policy for the information they receive.

Where your information is processed

Our service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. In those countries your information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and other authorities under local law.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above or as the law requires. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limiting access to the people who need it. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, to correct information that is inaccurate, to stop using or delete your information where the law allows, and to withdraw your consent. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 30 days. If you live in Québec, you may have additional rights under Québec privacy law.

Complaints

If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. If you live in Québec, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

The Site is intended for adults of legal gambling age: 19 in most provinces, and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

The Site links to casinos and other third-party websites. They have their own privacy policies and practices. Please read a casino’s policy before you register.
